Legal: demands, 3rd party collections, small claims court and assist legal counsel
Manage all aspects of collections activities
Manage a small collections staff
Perform and/or review account reconciliations
Manage credit applications via an online portal
Negotiate payments on past due invoices
Activate and set up new customer accounts and billing requirements
Administer 3rd party collections software
Train new brokers on credit policies
5+ years of credit management experience
Experience in a sales focused organization is a strong plus.
Previous experience with managing a credit and collections team
Strong analytical skills
Excellent communication skills with internal and external customers
Ability to handle situations with a diplomatic and calm manner
Experience using Experian and all related tools within the portal
